Delinquent Accounts

OhioHealth prefers to work directly with the patient to collect all outstanding balances due within an agreed upon time frame. However, if your account is not paid on-time, or in accordance with payment terms, your outstanding balance will be referred to a collection agency. Call Customer Service at 614-566-1505 and 844-379-4962 to make a payment, discuss payment options, or learn about our financial assistance programs.

Physician and Technical Fees

You may receive multiple bills for your hospital visit. These include:

  • A bill from hospital services
  • Bills from doctors to read x-rays, give anesthesia or do blood work
  • Bills from doctors to care for you while you are in the hospital

If you have questions about bills from your doctors, please contact their office, using the phone number at the bottom of your bill.

Co-Pays, Deposits and Out of Pocket Expenses

When coming to OhioHealth for service, please bring your health insurance card, a photo ID and a form of payment, if possible. If you receive inpatient, outpatient or Emergency Department services from OhioHealth, we will request a co-pay or deposit at the time of service, just as you would make a co-pay for a doctor's appointment. Your health insurer can tell you the amount of co-pay or out of pocket expenses due under your plan.

Please note, we will not delay or reschedule treatment if you cannot pay at time of service.
