At OhioHealth, we provide care to everyone who comes to us, regardless of their ability to pay. That's been our commitment to the community, and the patients we serve, for more than 100 years.
There are several options available to help you pay your hospital bill:
Hospital Care Assurance Program (HCAP)
Through HCAP, OhioHealth hospitals join with other community hospitals to provide services to patients with incomes less than 100 percent of the federal poverty level. Individuals who are enrolled in Ohio's disability assistance programs are also eligible for HCAP. HCAP only covers hospital charges. If you have applied for HCAP and have questions, you may call our Customer Service team at 614-566-1505 and 844-379-4962.

Other Financial Assistance
OhioHealth also provides a generous financial assistance policy for patients who are not eligible for HCAP. This includes free or discounted care for those who qualify. Our financial assistance guidelines are printed on the back of your bill, or you may call Customer Service at 614-566-1505 and 844-379-4962.
To find out if you qualify for HCAP or other financial assistance, complete the financial aid application located on the back of your bill. Financial aid applications are also available at each hospital. Return your signed financial aid application, along with any required documentation (such as proof of income) within 30 days of receiving your bill. If you have questions about the financial aid application, please call Customer Service at 614-566-1505 and 844-379-4962.
